Re: Partial Sync, Notes Missing in NixNote

If you create a new note in Evernote, will NixNote download it? If you create a new note in NixNote, is it uploaded when you sync?

Re: Top menu bar missing

NixNote doesn't control that. It is a function of your window manager.

Re: It doesn't even install...

Sorry for the pitifully slow response. i've been busy with family issues. Please try two things. 1.) Try downloading the latest version & try installing it. I have updated it since then. 2.) From a terminal, do a "sudo dpkg -i <install-file>" to see if any messages appear in the termin...

Re: Sync eating spaces + issue tracking

Sorry. I haven't had much time to work on NixNote recently. Kids & work have taken a lot of my time.

Re: Log File?

I just uploaded a new 2.0.2 build to SourceForge, I'd try that first.

There should be some log files under the ~/.nixnote directory, but if nothing else I'd start it from a command line and look for any error messages.

Re: selective sync?

The old NixNote 1.x series had an option to do a selective download of notebooks, but the current NixNote2.x series doesn't have that feature. Sorry.

Re: After 6 months, release new builds on sourceforge ?

It is on my list of things to do, but unfortunately things in my personal life have been rather strange this summer. I promise I'll try to get it as soon as i have the time. Sorry.

Re: Spell Check

There is a plugin for Linux. It is not a spell-as-you-type, but it brings up a dialog box to check spelling.
