Partial Sync, Notes Missing in NixNote

I recently installed NixNote on my Ubuntu 16.10 Gnome system. I installed it mainly so I can get a full backup of my notes. I have 70 GB free on this laptop. Nixnote seems to have downloaded (from the online Evernote) only some of the notes. It did not download any notes that were created or modified within the past year. I'm sure that NIxNote and Evernote-online are logged in to the same account. When I entered Authorization in NixNote I got a message "Evernote: NixNote is now linked to your account".

If you create a new note in Evernote, will NixNote download it? If you create a new note in NixNote, is it uploaded when you sync?

I just noticed I'm having the same issue. Sync went through normally but then I noticed I missing some files. Any suggestions?

I added a note to NixNote and that seems to have triggered a full sync. NixNote now seems to have all my Evernote notes. So I exported all my notes using
"File / Export to Nixnote Export". Now I have my Evernotes backed up. Thanks NixNote.
